Why I Guide
I guide because I love connecting people to the place I call home. Every tour is a chance to share South Africa’s beauty, complexity, and spirit. Seeing guests grow in understanding through local perspectives is deeply rewarding.
My Guiding Style
I focus on relaxed, meaningful conversations. I create space for all questions—especially the tough ones—and tailor each tour to guests’ interests, whether it’s history, culture, nature, or wine. I also introduce guests to locals, which often becomes the highlight of their journey.
A Local with a Global View
Born and raised in South Africa, I’ve also lived in Namibia, Sweden, and the UK. These experiences help me explain South African life in relatable ways, offering guests a broader perspective.
Where Passion Meets Purpose
My passions—history, culture, nature, and wine—shape my tours. I love sharing South Africa’s stories, from ancient times to today, in honest and engaging ways. As a winemaker, I also bring a personal touch to wine experiences.
