R 1,700 pp. Minimum 2 persons – Approximate Duration 9 – 10 hours.
South Africa is a wonderful country for bird watching, being home to 8% of the world’s bird species. Over 610 bird species have been registered in Cape Town and 60 of South Africa’s 86 endemic birds are found in the here.
Due to our unique vegetation, some birds are found nowhere else, such as Cape Sugarbird, Orange-breasted Sunbird, Orange’s Victorian Warbler, Protea canary, Black Harrier and Forest Canary. We also look for South Africa’s national bird, the beautiful Blue Crane. We will visit three very special bird watching destinations in Nature reserves and botanical gardens.
