Going Slowly on the Garden Route
Nothing captures the sense of freedom the way a road trip does. This experience is the only Going Slowly tour that involves daily, or almost daily travel. However, the daily distances are short keeping the focus on experiencing several destinations and biomes en route. Slow Garden Route usually begins and ends in Stellenbosch and involves a looping route encompassing the largest indigenous forest in the country, Karoo, mountain passes, fertile valleys, elephants, wine routes and long sandy beaches. It can also be done in a single direction.
