Land Based Whale watching(Seasonal. 1st June-15th December)
R 3,600 pp. Minimum 2 persons – ~10 Hours round trip. Subject to availability.
We drive from Stellenbosch to Hermanus via the coastal road, which follows the eastern False Bay coastline most all the way with wonderful views of mountains, ocean and beaches. We will pass Rooiels and Pringle Bay before stopping to see the African Penguin colony. In Hermanus we will have lunch and walk along the cliff path stopping to watch the whales in the bay below. There is an additional option to get closer to the whales by boat (weather permitting).
